Week 10 - 2018

Luc's Aunt Aubree and Uncle Sean sent these lights for Luc's birthday. He loves them so much.

Lights!

Luc's birthday party was "light" themed. Our guests all brought lights as party decorations. Glow sticks, a light saber, string lights, lamps, an LED balloon... It was wonderful.

We also took Luc to the local aquarium as a birthday outing.

And now for a bit of a walk down memory lane. Newborn Luc.

One of the very first photos I ever took of Lucas. I can still smell his little newborn head and feel his tiny chest going up and down as he breathed. Don't mind me. I'll just be sobbing into my squirming toddler's hair.

 This week:
- I taught Luc to hold up one finger when asked how old he is. He puts his finger up and shouts "ha!"
- Lucas has started crying when Tom leaves for work in the morning. He also started calling Tom "mama." I will tell him to go find his papa and he says "mama!" and goes running for Tom.
- LUC SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT WITH NO FEEDS. Tom and I woke up this morning at 8:30. The sun was shining, birds were chirping. And for the first time in Luc's entire life... he didn't wake up during the night. Tom was late for work (because Luc has been our alarm clock for the past year) but I say it is worth it.
