Week 12 - 2018

Luc's life this week: insane smiles and dinos.

Sitting in the windowsill watching the rain.
The aquarium! We are definitely getting our money's worth out of this annual pass.

Rain, rain, and rain this week. We ran around at the park on a rare dry day.

We left his prized mouse in Orem last week. After a miserable, sleepless night we made a special trip to Walmart. It was an emergency.

Trying on his summer wardrobe and playing with his dino.

Hanging with his grandpa and appreciating his favorite art installation: Ceiling Fan at a Grandpa's House.
This week:
- Lucas struggled with his sleep. Meaning we all struggled with our sleep.
- We went out for a lot of outings. By the afternoon, Luc is completely inconsolable at home. However, he is all smiles and excitement as long as we're out of the house.
- Luc has been enjoying a little more independence when we're out. He's gotten pretty good at running around in his shoes so I let him walk by himself at the grocery store, the aquarium, wherever. He's usually pretty good about keeping up. And he only tries to rip about 75% of the items off the shelves.
- Luc has been full of big, noisy kisses. He kisses my phone when we FaceTime people, his animals, his parents, etc etc.
- His new favorite game is to roar loudly at people and give giant smiles (see the first photo).
- I made the mistake of snorting like a pig to Lucas this week instead of oinking. Now he snorts at all the pigs he sees (including the piggy bank in my room).
- He has decided he likes to sleep with his plastic dinosaur figures. I usually find him facedown in his bed clutching his brontosaurus in his hands.
