Piano with his cousin Clark.
This week:
- We had a wonderful and terrible week. Wonderful because we spent lots of time with family. Terrible because that was mostly because of doctor's appointments for me. The good news is that those appointments were just routine monitoring. On Monday I had an infusion. I was feeling a lot better by Wednesday... just in time to start prepping for my Thursday colonoscopy (which showed that my U.C. is totally in remission for the time being!! Hooray!). Luc's grandparents were massively helpful and took care of him for me during all of the medical stuff.
- Luc enjoyed his first Easter (last year he was still mostly a little grub of a newborn) with the Woodbury side of the family. He loved running around in the grass during the egg hunt and was (aggressively) fascinated with his Grandma's bunny.
- Luc has learned a crazy amount this week. He now points out his eyes, ears, nose, teeth, and hair on request. I taught him to sign for milk instead of ripping my shirt away from my chest. He "jumps", even though his feet don't actually make it off the ground. And he is playing in new ways (rolling cars across the ground while making car noises, stamping his feet to music, attempting to put lids on containers, and playing jokes on us).
