Week 8 - 2018

Snow!

This snow angel brought to you by a desperately flailing baby.

I pinned this boy down and trimmed his hair. He was not interested in having his picture taken afterwards.

He was much more interested in banging on the laundry room door.

The baby gate blocking the kitchen has been retired. He learned to climb the fence. So. I have now baby proofed the kitchen cabinets and he spends his day rolling around in there. He's enjoying his new freedom.

This week:
- Luc has been practicing says some new letters. He's getting very good at shouting, "ta!".
- He is climbing everything. Furniture, baby fences, etc. I found him standing on the window sill after I went into the kitchen for 10 seconds.
- Lucas has reached a new high in his snuggly-ness. He just wants to cuddle at all times.
- Nursing sessions are dropping in frequency. Most of the time he is more interested in running around than he is in breastfeeding. We'll see if this means he's weaning himself or if it's a short phase due to being distracted. In the mean time, this boy can eat. He loves most foods but has a special love of all things orange.
- He has started pointing at lights and saying "ahh! ahh!". I think it's because I say "on" or "off" as I flip the light switch. When I flip the lights on and off for him in response to his shouts, he gets very excited. He's figuring out more and more ways to communicate.
