Playing with cousin Clark. |
Grandma Woodbury blowing bubbles for Lucas. He was very focused. Notice his foaming mouth. (He apparently enjoys the taste of soap.) |
A sunny, perfect day for a birthday party. Happy birthday, Clark! |
Picking dandelions. He also liked the taste of those. |
I let him have access to the bottom two stairs. He thought he was getting away with something. |

This is what a 104 degree fever looks like. |
And this. |
And this too (???). |
Oh, and also this. |
Figuring out the proper use for his giraffe stacker. They're not actually pacifiers after all! |
This week:
- Luc started signing "please" correctly and uses it more often.
- New words: bubble, purple, book, ball, Amy, hair, hot. Most of this are only decipherable to a trained ear. Oh, and he also says ear.
- This week started out with Luc getting a fever of 104 degrees. I called the pediatrician who said to just keep him hydrated and comfortable. His fever went down and he didn't show any other symptoms other than a decreased appetite for a couple of days and a diaper rash. He had seemed fine for so we went down for his cousin's birthday party on Saturday. Later that night, I got a fever of my own. That was followed by a sore throat and now... itchy rashes on my hands and feet. All signs point to hand, food, and mouth disease (such a descriptive name). I'm keeping my itchy fingers crossed that we didn't unknowingly infect anyone else. :( We're that nightmare family spreading disease, I guess. Our apologies to all.
