Week 17 - 2018

Attempting to eat yogurt with a spoon.

Splashing outside on a warm afternoon.

Playing piano with his dad.

Thai festival with mom.

Chalk is delicious.

Very delicious.

He also did a little bit of drawing. By which I mean he added some dots to the drawings I did for him.

Climbing the slide.

Sweet, sweet freedom.

Sick boy reading books with a sick mom.

This week:
- Luc started saying birdy, bubble, color, and "side" (outside).
- He figured out how to sign "more." Now everything is more, more, more.
- If Luc hears anyone use the word "outside" he grabs his shoes and runs for the door. If we are not fast enough at getting him outside, he ping pongs between the front and back doors. He bangs and sobs until we set him free.
- Luc has recovered from being ill. I have not. And Tom seems to have picked up a bug of his own somewhere (which he then passed to me. Double sick. Yay.) So basically our home is a petri dish of disease. We ventured out on Saturday for a very brief outing to the Thai Lao New Year festival near our house. We ate our pad thai on the periphery of the outdoor festival where we wouldn't infect anyone and enjoyed the music and dancing on the stage. We all came home feeling even more exhausted, but it was nice to enjoy a little sunshine out of the house.
