Week 26 - 2018

This week Luc learned to say pool

A baby on a table. His climbing skills have (unfortunately) improved.

Babies are messy. And crazy.

Snuggles after a haircut by mom. We finished the haircut without cutting his ears or poking out an eye. A success in my book.

This week:
- Luc learned some new words. Among them are pool, clue (as in Blue's Clues), and something that sounds a lot like "whassat?" when he is curious about something.
- Luc's climbing abilities are advancing faster than his common sense. Sigh. He climbs on everything and then falls off of everything. I moved the coffee table out of the living room to prevent him from dancing on top of it. However, he is still climbing up on to the dining table chairs, the backs of couches, and has attempted to climb the baby gates.
- Luc's favorite game to play right now is pointing out body parts on himself and then finding the same one on you. He ruffles his hair, then ruflles yours. Touches his nose, then touches yours. etc. He likes for us to name to the part as his does this.
- Lucas loves ice. He loves to slide it around his food tray and suck on it at meal times. I have to skip having ice in my water if I want him to eat anything else because otherwise he will refuse everything else on the table. He got his wires a little bit crossed though. When he wants ice he will squeeze his eyes shut and hold out his hands. It took me a little while to realize what he meant. But eyes = ice to Luc's ears. He can't say the word, so he just shows me.
