"Vrooming" his bus.
Playing the McDonald's play place piano on a very rainy day. |
Our little flower bed. I planted some pansies and delphinium. |
Flowering bushes, pansies, and green grass. Feels like spring! (Except when it snows... like the other half of the week.) |
He sits on the window sill like a gargoyle to watch TV. I'm trying to get him to break this habit. |
- Luc started mimicking Oona on his favorite show, Puffin Rock. He says "ba ba ba" (rather than the trademark ba ba boo from the show).
- When asked if he is all done eating, he starts trying to unbuckle the straps in his high chair.
- He can now say "eye" when pointing to eyes.
- We are working on his comfort level with the gym daycare. After his first, easy week he started crying the whole time he was away from me. We're making progress. The daycare employees had me bring his mouse and cloud blanket for comfort.
- Luc learned to sign "please." Instead of rubbing his hand on his chest, though, he does it outward like Mr. Miyagi. Wax on. Wax off.
- In the same vein: Luc has (sort of) learned to play peekaboo. But rather than covering his eyes, he puts his hands behind his head and shouts boo! Kind of missing the point. But also kind of adorable.
- Luc has started running up and giving my legs a squeeze throughout the day. It's the sweetest thing and I love it.
- After a lot of sad tears, Luc has two new teeth this week. Bringing the grand total up to eight.

Love Love Love that boy! He is constantly absorbing and experimenting with language and sounds. So much fun to keep track of his growth/learning on this blog! Thanks!
