Week 18 - 2018

"Are you strong, Luc?"
Luc: grunts, flexes muscles

Lucas likes putting stuff on his head.

No pants and a hoodie cape.

Snuggling his blanket. He likes to stop in the middle of whatever crazy game his is playing to snuggle stuff.

Just chillin on the couch like a grown up.

Putting more stuff on Luc's head. He holds really still while I stack stuff up there and then shakes it all off.

Twins!
A baby lumberjack. This marks year ten of a nonsense holiday the Binghams have celebrated every April 28th. This year had to be pushed back due to illness but was plenty festive. Not pictured: piles of flapjacks, bacon, and sausage. You know... lumberjack food. My flannel didn't make an appearance this year because pancake making is sweaty business on an 80 degree day.
A flashback to last year's LJ Day. The tiniest, grumpiest lumberjack. (Same beard-hat.)

This week:
- Lucas made a ton of new friends at the park. I tend to be an introvert loner when left to my own devices. Thanks to this social kid, though, we've been making friends with all of our neighbors (hooray!).
- We've been making a slow return to health. Germs, germs, go away and don't come again another day. Please. For like, a couple weeks at least.
- Luc learned to kick a soccer ball (thanks neighborhood kids!) and now shouts "ball!" all day long.
- The kid has figured out peek-a-boo for real with his hands in FRONT of his face. He now plays peek-a-book at me while nursing, during baths, at any and every opportunity.
- We bought some bathtub markers and Luc loves to color in the bath.
- My brother and sister slept over on Friday. They arrived after Luc was already in bed. On Saturday morning he was pretty pumped to wake up to his "Mimi" and "Bub".
- My mom came to help me out on yet another sick day. Lucas was overjoyed. He loved reading books, wearing her hoodie, and playing jokes with her.
- Luc had a nana sleepover over the weekend. Tom and I were child free for a full 24 hours! Lucas did so, so well. And we really enjoyed a much needed break.
