Week 20 - 2018

His daily cheese stick. In between his morning nap and lunch time, this boy must sit and eat his cheese. It is an non-negotiable ritual.
The face he makes while watching TV.

"Mom stop. Stop. Please. I can't see past your head."

Sidewalk chalk.
Sidewalk chalk and a grocery store ball.

A hike with his papa to a waterfall (while I took a nap).

Grabbing dinner one night. Luc basically drank their cucumber pineapple salsa. After each mouthful, he would feel his time like this (presumably because of the spice). Then he'd beg for more "muh-nee" (food).

Renaissance Faire. This weekend was pirate themed. Lucas was complimented on his "obedient mount". Tom was only mildly amused.

This week:
- When he watches Little Baby Bum (a weird and hypnotizing show consisting of kid songs and strange animations), he likes to sing and dance along. The song "Ten in the Bed" is one of his favorites. When they sing "roll over" he shouts "ruh-ruh-ruh".
- Luc continued to be obsessed with being outside. I taught him how to blow on a dandelion head that's gone to seed. He thinks it's a great game and gets annoyed when it doesn't work on flowers, grass, or other plants.
- Tom took Luc on a hike. Lucas enjoyed having the freedom to sing (or screech, depending on your point of view) the entire time. Tom says other hikers on the trail thought it was funny. Which is interesting. Because fellow grocery shoppers typically just cringe when Luc and I are out.
- We went to the Utah Renaissance and Fantasy Faire up past Ogden over the weekend. Their turkey leg vendor apparently bailed this year. But we enjoyed nachos and burgers instead. There was also a magic show, historical cooking society, equestrian archery, and petting zoo. Lucas loved the goats, bunnies, and dogs the most.
