Week 30 - 2018

Family hike up to see the wildflowers near Alta.

Luc thought my water bottle flute skills were pretty impressive.

Lake Catherine. We decided to hike up through the flowers to see the lake. It was beautiful. And also the hike reminded me that I need to go get a new inhaler before I try any other hiking any time soon. Whew.

I love a baby in overalls. Here he is playing with his bus.

Luc in his dino suit and bib eating a veggie pouch.

The aquarium! (The first of two visits this week.) It never, ever gets old.

Just my grown up boy climbing up things that are way too big for him. He thinks he can keep up with the bigger kids. And most of the time he can.

Bee's game on Pioneer Day. There were huge crowds and it was pretty hectic. But Luc handled the late night like a champ. He also loved the fireworks after the game.

Too bad every single picture of him he looked miserable. It was actually just because he was too busy taking it all in.

Eyeing some nachos.

And eating his fourth hot dog bun. This boy knows how to enjoy a baseball game.

A blurry photo of Lucas bringing me a shoe. He will find any unattended shoes and deliver them straight to my lap while chanting, "Shoe! Shoo-OOOE!"

This week:
- We had a lovely, busy week. We went to a baseball game, on a hike, and went away for a night so that I could get my infusion early the next morning. We also had several appointments (dentists, etc) that kept us all hurrying around. Luc's schedule was all out of whack but he handled it pretty well, considering.
- Luc has been carting around armfuls of books all week and "reading" them to us. He remembers lots of the words and sounds and parrots them back to us all on his own.
- Some funny/confusing words: Luc says cereal, show, and shoe now. Unfortunately they all come out sounding the same. You have to guess based on context.
- If Luc comes at you yelling "cull!" and wiggling his fingers, it means he wants to tickle you. He expects you to laugh and takes great joy in tackling people to the ground.
- My sister came and slept over one night this week. Ever since, Luc keeps asking for his "may-may" (Amy).
- Luc's new game is open-close. He holds his arms out wide and waits for you to say open. Then he claps his hands together and yells, "close!"
