Week 34 - 2018

Swings.
This boy has been exceptionally cuddly this week.

He is obsessed with books. He brings me books one by one. As soon as I finish reading a book, he trots off to the box of books and brings me a new one. The stack on the right is the "done" pile. We read three or four more books before he decided he was done.

Balancing shape toys on his toes.

Being draffed around by papa. I love his face.

Chowing down on toast.
Goofball in the car.

Playing at City Creek. We spent the day in SLC visiting Bub and Belle.
Beautiful, fresh strawberries.
Two batches of strawberry jam.

Tom working on hanging my file sorter. We also hung our new clock and a bunch of other things.

This week:
- Luc was extra snuggly. He has always been an affectionate boy, but he has taken it to a whole new level this week. He just wants to wrap his arms around my neck, stroke my hair, and say "mamamama." I am soaking up every second of it.
- We had a couple of barbecues with friends this week. We've been getting a lot of mileage out of our grill and loving the company.
- I've been feeling pretty under the weather lately. I'm not ready to call it a U.C. flare just yet. But I'm not feeling well. Tom has been picking up a lot of the slack lately and taking care of me and Luc.
- We spent lots of time visiting friends (old ones and new ones!).
- Luc has been quizzing us on words. He points to he knee and says, "dat?" and wants us to tell him it's called a knee. Then he moves on from body part to body part.
- Everywhere we go, Luc is on the lookout for "gogs" (dogs). When he sees or hears one he points and yells.
- Luc has started getting really fussy about mealtimes. We discovered that the old airplane trick works really well on him. When the spoon takes off his yells "plane!" and opens his mouth. Magical.
