Baby oatmeal dust ALL OVER MY LAPTOP. I had the audacity to close the bathroom door on him. He yelled at me briefly and then found something else to do. Ugh. |
But he's also the cutest. So. |
My baby asleep on my lap. My favorite thing. |
Jamming his finger into the baby's eye. So paternal. |
Family pizza and movie night. He chowed down. He also loved Spirited Away. All my parenting dreams coming true. |
He climbed up there to pet my head on a day I wasn't feeling especially well. The sweetest boy. (Not pictured: when he decided to butt stomp my head two minutes later.) |
Playing his xylophone. |
Learning about the solar system with Clark and Aunt Emily |
Driving the car at the Discovery Museum. |
More museum - throwing legos into the water. |
Cousins experimenting with air blowers and balls. |
Oh you know, just relaxing like a normal human. |
- We lost the childproofing battle. Luc can officially get onto the countertops. There is no hope, only constant vigilance.
- Luc and I spent a lot of time trying to keep busy during the day. He is a tornado of energy and mischief. We wandered around stores, went to parks, and spent a lot of time at the gym (hooray for their daycare).
- On Saturday, Tom and Joe went to FanX in SLC. Emily and I met up and took the babies to the Discovery Museum at Gateway. The boys are toddlers... so of course they were whiny and difficult at times. But they loved all the activities there.
- Luc started doing this thing where he announces to everyone in earshot that I am his mama. If we pass someone at the store, for example, he gets their attention. Then he pats my chest and tells them "mama!". He likes it the most when I pat him back and say "my baby". This happens all day long.
