Week 39 - 2018

Luc shredding the wrapping paper from my birthday present.

Again.

Luc being mischievous (as usual)

Me and my boy on my birthday.

He was really into this PB&J.

Sick snuggles.

Tom's cousin Elyse organized a playdate at Great Grandma Woodbury's house.

Watching TV. We did this a LOT this week.

Aunt Amy came to visit. Luc was clearly pretty jazzed about it.
This week:
- Honestly, this week kind of sucked. My UC flared up pretty intensely. We spent most of the week in survival mode: endless TV/couch time, very simple meals, and relying a lot on friends and family.
- The non-sucky parts of our week included: some very nice friends taking me our for sushi the night before my birthday, getting to see more of the people we love, and a birthday dinner with the Woodburys for me and Joe.
- Despite feeling pretty crummy on the day, Tom still managed to make my birthday a happy one. He brought me peanut sauce and sticky rice (my favorite "I'm sick"/safe to eat during a UC flare treat). He also bought me a new candy thermometer and a waffle iron.
- Luc is definitely at the end of his patience with how slow we've been taking it. However, he has been a champ this week. He's been super sweet, snuggly, and patient.
- My brain is a little fried so I will try to include more Luc updates next week.
