Uncle Bub holding Luc back from mobbing Fig the dog. |
Enjoying dinner one night this week. My brother David came over and we had a lovely evening. |
Sitting in the front window asking for Fig the next morning. |
Delighted that I put a hair clip in his hair. He's always bring them to me and begging me to "help help!" put them in. |
Playing with his stuffed dino. He and Rex were exactly the same size when Luc was born. |
An evening hike. |
We had some beautiful views of our valley. |
Chowing down. He ate SO MUCH for breakfast. |
Breakfast again the next day. He out ate both me and Tom. He was a fan of pumpkin pancakes. This picture was taken right after he faked me out with a bite of pancakes. |
Offering pancakes to Tom so that he can snatch them away at the last second. |
David and Belle hosted a murder mystery party on Friday. I look dead because I was. My character was poisoned halfway through the party and I had to paint my face with white and black paint. |
"Choo choo!" |
We took Luc to a haunted (but very kid friendly) train ride. The mini train was thrilling to watch but less exciting to ride (according to Luc). He's sucking on a tootsie roll here that he received on the train. |
A very blurry, dark photo. But the Syracuse Pumpkin Walk was a fantastic Halloween activity. |
Playing Mario with his papa. |
The apple pie I baked for Susan's birthday. |
Clark pushing Luc in the hippo car. They were actually playing together! |
This week:
- Luc wore his pumpkin shirt pretty much every day.
- The favorite games around here have been Luc enticing people to chase him, Luc faking people out with false offers to share food, Luc making his animals give each other hugs and kisses, and Luc putting hats on everyone and everything.
- I caught Luc giving drinks from his sippy cups to: the gargoyle Halloween decorations ("bears"), his stuffed animals, and... the TV. Evidently he considers it an entity that may desire juice.
- New words include: frog, fig, fish, eyes, nose, nurse, mouth, up, please, and off.
