Week 44 - 2018

Playing trains with Clark (Or "Cark" as Luc calls him)
Taking pictures of babies is hard. Luc's face in this attempt cracks me up.
Sliiiightly better.

Serving papa cupcakes at the Treehouse Museum in Ogden.

Double binkies.

Playing Wii with his papa.

Amy came over to hang out with me.

Remembering our late dog Charlie whose birthday was Halloween.

Our baby spider on Halloween night.

He has worn this costume everyday since.

Trick or treating.

Luc loved trick or treating, all the lit up pumpkins, and best of all - a walk AFTER dinner! Amazing.

Luc and Fig the dog had matching shirts.

And Bub had a matching Bub. Luc's mind was blown.

Carving the jack o latern.

Cuddling his baby. It's almost (ALMOST) enough to make me want another one.

Pumpkin painting project.

This week:
- Luc mostly caught on to trick or treating by the end of Halloween. At first, he was trying to bust into people’s houses. But by the time we got home he knocked on our door and yelled “treat”!
- Luc was obsessed with his spider costume. He kept requesting "bug! bug!" and then he'd wear it around the house until he was forced to remove it for a meal or for a nap.
- New/most commonly used words this week: walk, sit, no!! (accompanied by a swat at whatever you're trying to give him that he CLEARLY DOES NOT WANT), and night.
- On Halloween night, Luc was completely exhausted after we got home from trick or treating (all four houses of it). He stood at the bottom of the stairs wailing "map!" (nap). I asked him if he wanted to go to bed and he responded, "Night!!" He was so done.
- We've continued to be really sick and pathetic around here. I've been struggling for weeks with what we assumed was a flare of my UC. But Luc is showing similar symptoms now. And even Tom hasn't been 100%. So we are investigating other causes. In the meantime, we are a sad bunch. Our apologies if we miss events or are flaky. We're a mess.
