| My beautiful boy. |
| He conquered his fear of the bridge. He usually wants me to hold his hand when he crosses bridges on play equipment. But on this day, I watched him screw up all his courage. Then he said "bridge!" and marched across. |
| I know I say stuff like this all the time.. but seriously, where is my baby? and who is this kid? |
| Snuggling. |
| Perched on the table with his crew, taking a milk break. |
| Luc finds all the loose bobby pins in our house and asks me to put them in his hair. |
| He decided that his bowl worked better as a hat. Also, he started calling hats "hats" instead of "tass". |
| It was very bright at the park. |
| "Goose! Cuhs!" (ducks) |
| Checking out the fish at the pet store. |
| Enjoying his freedom. No carts for this boy if he can help it. |
This week:
- Luc is starting to abandon a lot of his baby language. He no longer say tass, toss, muh-nee but actually says hat, hot, and food. He also learned the word hug and asks for them all the time. Other words this week: egg, nope, and move. As in, "we've been sitting in the wreath making aisle at Hobby Lobby for 20 minutes and I'm gonna lose my mind so 'MOOOOOOVE'."
- He is always asking for "showsh" (sauce). Applesauce, ketchup, salad dressing... all of these fall into the showsh category.
- Luc is getting really into trains right now. He calls them choo choos and EVERYTHING is a train. He lines things up, gets frustrated that things don't "nect" (connect) like a train, and makes things go choo choo up and down your arms.
- Luc's bathtime splashing skills have leveled up. We usually end up cowering under a towel or behind the shower curtain while he cackles and splashes.
