Week 47 - 2018

Layton Holidays Lights
This face is a pretty good indicator of how much he loved the lights.
Hiking with his papa

Christmas has been appearing at our house bit by bit.

A nativity on the shelf, a table runner.

A Christmas wreath on the door.
And snow outside!

Luc seemed slightly unsure for the first 30 seconds of being out in the snow. But he literally dove right in after that.

Those rosy little cheeks. <3

Warming up with cocoa after playing in the snow.
Babies in the bath.

Cousins in Christmas jammies.

Luc took over Hank the poodle's bed. "Night!" he said.

Playing with Clark on Thanksgiving.

Pre-feast visit to my aunt and uncle's house.

It's partially the angle of the photo. But this boy is getting so big. I can't handle it.

This photo is actually from the previous week. But I had to include it because it was so cute. Woodbury second cousins at the extended Woodbury family Thanksgiving.

Luc has taken to eating whole apples like some kind of grown up.
 This week:
- We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Woodburys. Luc was a whirlwind of energy and excited the entire time. We went down to Utah County on Wednesday for my infusion and spent the day with Binghams. And then Thursday we spent the day with Woodburys for the holiday. Luc was psyched out of his mind to be with so much family.
- Words this week: fwuff (as in cranberry fluff - a Woodbury tradition at Thanksgiving), Hank (the dog), snow.
- Any time Luc sees Christmas displays at the store (whether or not they are featuring Santa) he points and says "hohoho!". I was trying to explain Christmas a little and that's the only thing that stuck.
- We attended the Layton Holiday Lights lighting ceremony. Before the lighting, Layton held a concert at the high school. All the local elementary schools sent choirs to sing Christmas carols. Afterwards, the audience went across the street to the park where they officially turned on all the lights they do for the holidays. Luc liked the singing but got pretty impatient with how long the concert was. He was convinced to stay in his seat when I gave him an entire apple all to himself (something he now wants all the time). But he LOVED the lights at the park. He pointed out all the moose lights (strangely they were a lot) and was convinced that all the reindeer were wolves (which he pointed out and howled at).
